PTO

Depending on the year, we offer a combination of 6 paid/floating holidays, which typically include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Our People Helping People

This special benefit (eligible after 1 year) allows employees to schedule off 8 hours per year to volunteer for a specific charitable non-profit, and we pay you to do it! We believe in giving back to our communities, and this is just one way we show it!

At Foster Caviness we believe that people are at the core of all we do. Developing team members within our organization and creating opportunities for them to grow in character, in knowledge, and in practice is key. Cultivating their creativity and empowering excellence lays the foundation of our service oriented leadership training.

Food

The cycle of a successful food-service company ranges from procurement to sales to safety and everything in between. Passionate foodies are who we are! Whether LDP members are working to improve the latest food packing challenges investigating new sustainable growers and sources, LDP opens the minds of our team members in all departments to ways we can do “food” better!

Together

Internal togetherness within a company can give purpose and make lasting connections that make people want to be a part of that organization. At Foster-Caviness we are creating a culture change where people work hard, do without being asked, serve their coworkers, and achieve this in the spirit of unity. CAREER PATHS

Say hello to Jennifer

Jennifer started her career journey with Foster in June of 2021. She joined as a Repack Associate, moved up to a Receiving and Replenishment Associate, became a Receiving and Replenishment Associate Lead, and is now an Operations Supervisor. Her hard work in learning the business and learning new skills has lead to her career growth here at Foster.

Say hello to Kiel

Kiel started his career journey at Foster in September of 2020. He joined as a Night Order Selector and showcased his talents. He then moved to an Inventory Specialist role, and is now currently an Associate Category Manager on our Procurement Team. He has been able to see the business from a couple of perspectives and uses this knowledge to grow his career here at Foster.

Say hello to Brian

Brian stated his career journey at Foster in April of 2009 at a remote location. He joined as a Delivery Driver and then moved to a Driver Supervisor role for that location. Brian is now a Transportation Supervisor, leading drivers not only in his original remote location, but also for another one of Foster’s locations. His ability to supervise a remote location has led to him having greater responsibility for more of the company, and continue on his Foster career.

Shelly started her career journey at Foster in June of 2022 as a summer Repack Associate between her JR/SR year of high school. She then rejoined Foster in January of 2023 as an Inventory Associate and now is a Repack Lead. She continues to learn things about the business to grow her career here at Foster.

Say hello to Chris

Chris started his career journey at Foster in June of 2020 as our Customer Experience Manager. From there, he promoted up to Director of Customer Experience and became part of our Strategic Team. He realized he wanted a different path at Foster and moved to become our Pricing and Margin Analyst where he continues to learn more about our overall operations. He continues to gain more and more knowledge to help him on his career path here at Foster.
